Afternoon tea has seen a resurgence in popularity over the past few years - an idea that the Adair Arms Hotel restaurant has expanded upon and given a modern twist. Try something extra special and catch up by the fireside, relax and enjoy their traditional afternoon tea, a favourite with locals and visitors alike.
Their afternoon tea is composed of sandwiches (usually cut delicately into ‘fingers’), scones with jam, sweet pastries and cakes. Interestingly, scones were not a common feature of early afternoon tea and were only introduced in the twentieth century.
They also offer a gluten free afternoon tea and green tea alternatives. Relax into the sumptuous sofas in the extensive lobby and enjoy your afternoon.
