The Star Inn is a welcoming, family pub in the historic village of Lingfield, Surrey, just a short walk from the famous Lingfield Park racecourse. They're surrounded by the famous Surrey countryside and woodlands, yet they are also in close proximity to Gatwick Airport.
There's a large garden with views across the open countryside, plenty of tables and a climbing frame for the children. In the winter they have a roaring open fire in the traditional oak-beamed and flagstoned bar.
Accommodation
They have double or twin rooms available, all with en-suite facilities. Each room has a LCD television with freeview, complimentary Wi-Fi plus tea and coffee making facilities.
Dining
All the food is prepared on the premises using fresh seasonal produce. Various speciality dishes are available which cater to all tastes. Plus expertly cooked steaks, gourmet burgers and well prepared vegetarian options, and if you have room left, why not indulge in one of their home-made desserts.
If you’re looking for a lighter meal a wide range of bar snacks are also available, such as freshly made ciabatta sandwiches, burgers, fishcakes and a deli boards.
